These two continue to make us laugh constantly. They are really starting to chatter and I am pretty sure they have their own language. The other day they were sitting in their pink chairs in the living room and were chatting with each other. All the sudden they both picked up their chairs and brought them to the kitchen, sat on them there, and read their books. Kev and I looked at each other like what just happened??
Quinn does a really cute thing when she laughs or thinks something is funny...she will say OOH and then cover her mouth, usually with two hands like she is just so shocked. When Amelia laughs her eyes just sparkle like she is on top of the world.
They both are really starting to copy eachother and us. The other day Quinn was sick and threw up a little bit. She actually did a good job of doing so into the toilet. Sorry if this is TMI. But later I heard Quinn burp funny and asked her if she was going to throw up. She said no but Amelia said yes, went to the bathroom, asked me to put the seat up, stuck out her tongue and act like she was going to throw up. She had seen Quinn do it only once or twice earlier in the day. Such stinkers!
If we change one diaper we usually have to at least check the other one because they say they also need their diaper changed. They are so good at telling us that its pretty easy. We usually just humor them and at least check because we are happy they are showing interest in it. It's pretty cute the way they say pee or poo and point to their diaper. Wow....I am that mom today talking about all of these gross things.
Both girls are obsessed with animals, especially puppies. They love to read any books about animals and can imitate the sounds almost all of them. We found the movie Babe and they love to watch the pigs, sheep, and dogs. Their favorite book is Goodnight Gorilla and can point to all of the animals when we ask them to. They also love their baby bible books, mostly for the pictures.
The girls also love to pray. When we say Amen they sign more and we have to add a few things. When we say Amen again, they repeat until we say that is enough. They are also obsessed with "This little light of mine." They can do the actions to every verse and like to watch the Veggie Tales or other versions on you tube. When we say that is enough they sign more and more and say light, light, light. It's pretty adorable actually.
Anyway, here are some pictures of us finally getting outside today!
