Hello again! This week the babies are 19 weeks along. Here is a little bit about what is happening with them this week:
Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now.
Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a mango. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.
This also means that next week is the very exciting 20 week mark! On Tuesday we have the full anatomy scan where we get to find out the genders! We do ask for your prayers on the main purpose of this ultrasound, which is to confirm that the babies are developing normally. We will be sure to let everyone know once we find out, but until then....does anyone want to take a guess? I keep going back and forth but I am gonna guess one boy and one girl....at least I will get one right. :)
Here are the "popped out" pictures for the week:

Amber, do you remember me? I'm a high school friend of your mom's. For my 2 cents, I'm saying a girl and a boy.
